The author of the children’s picture book “Winning Means Not Being Afraid to Lose” shared the creative process of their best-selling book at the book exhibition.
German author Katharina Grossmann-Hensel made an appearance at the 2023 Taipei International Book Exhibition’s Children’s Salon on February 1st. She shared her illustrated children’s book “Winning Means Not Being Afraid to Lose” with the young audience. Through the story’s message, she hoped to convey to every child that winning doesn’t make someone superior, and losing doesn’t mean they are inferior. Her aim was to cultivate the idea that children can confidently approach situations. The on-site storytelling was lively, and the children responded enthusiastically.
